There is no range hood over the cook top. How does that work?

It looks like it has a down draft vent. You push a button and the vent pops up. It's mounted under the counter and vents through the floor.

Island size was about 96" x 44" including seating area. Width on the kitchen was about 17 ft. but I am unsure of the length.

That would really vary in different areas of the country. The best way to get a reasonable figure would be to contact a tile setter in your area and ask for a ballpark estimate. These were made by Inglenook Tile. Good luck!

Love the brick floor. Can you tell me more about it?

- Is it tile or pavers?

That floor is brick tile by Inglenook Tile. Great product especially when it has radiant heat under it!
