Te wet location rated led strip lighting used behind this mirror was mounted to a support structure behind mirror. The mirror and lights were two separate things, so you could use any mirror. Good luck with your project.

Does the light need to be recessed so the reflection of the bulb doesn't show up with dots on the tiles?

Yes, recessing helps...the further the better. However, with shiny things next to shiny things it's virtually impossible to eliminate reflections from all angles. If you're very concerned about dots, lensing the fixture or using a fixture that doesn't show any dots are both options. There are ways to detail this to eliminate the reflections, but it does get a bit complicated. Mock ups always help you understand how everything works together to eliminate the unknowns.

I love backlighting - but does it provide makeup, shaving appropriate light?

- It doesn't seem to. I need a lighting expert on this one. Thanks.

Love the wall mount faucet. Could you please advise who manufactures it?

Lynne, I've lost touch with the interior designer who completed this project. Her name is Jena Barker and she was based in San Antonio. If I could send you her contact information I would, but if you really wanted to find out, you could probably look her up and she would be able to answer your question. Good Luck!

From what I can tell the mirror was about 3' tall (it was done by Jena Barker, the interior designer). I looked at the archive drawings and this mirror was about 8' wide. I think you could stay in this 36-32" tall range and get a really similar look. Good luck!

I don't have exact dimensions of this project in front of me at the moment, but I'm guessing we had about 2" or so. Thx.
