The computer desk is not from Phillips Collection. It was another donation to Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Danyelle Mathews added this to The Family Home: Creative Multi-Use Workspaces
Be creative with the décor. Going bold with the décor in your workspace is an opportunity to show your artistic side. How about a family art project? You can create a look similar to this installation by having family members paint pieces of white cardstock with watercolors. When you tire of the look, simply remove it and brainstorm the next project together.
Lisa Frederick added this to Watercolors Inspire Dreamy Walls
The cascade of color chips in this studio resembles a palette dabbed with pigments.
Kurt Cyr added this to 13 Low-Commitment Ways to Play With Pattern
Over the rainbow. Who needs a paper moon when you can have a paper rainbow? Why it works: Painted cardstock is cheap, cheerful and very effective when used to create wall drama.
Jess McBride added this to 14 Fun and Easy DIY Projects With Paper
7. Rainbow bright. The best thing about affordable paper is that it can achieve major design impact on a minuscule budget. A couple of reams of painted card stock is all it takes to spread a band of color across the white walls of this creative professional’s office.

Gradation- The changing colors on the wall make you look at it from one end and go to the other end watching it change in color gradually.
