Hello. These are actually pieces of art, tonal landscapes that we used for our photo shoot. We have since archived our records and I cannot tell you any more information on who the artist is or where to get them. Thank you for your question.

I found a local carpenter who made this door for me! We adapted it so that it would fit into our doorway and what can I say: everybody loves it!

Glass on top of sliding door - I'm designing my house and is facing a dilemma: I have a room facing the entry (we'll currently use it as an office but might turn into a 3rd bedroom in the future). If I use this idea of putting glass on top of the sliding door for light to infiltrate the entry, isn't it hard to clean? I'm just considering the post work. Any other suggestions?

Glass up that high is a little harder to clean, but it also is high enough that it doesn't get a lot of handprints, dog noses or other contact that makes it need cleaning as often as a window lower in the wall.

I think you can probably clean it with an extension tool pretty easily.

A step ladder or extending squeegie would work just fine. You only really get dust up there, because no one will be in physical contact with the surface. If you don't need a sound barrier, you could use open shelving or a lattice-like frame structure that could add some visual interest.

Closet doors - How did you build the closet doors? Are they custom doors with a wood veneer? Thank you! Do wood veneers have names the way tile do? If so, what is this veneer called?

Thank you for your interest in our Tyrol Hills Modern Residence. As the
interior paint colors were custom blended for the client, we do not make
available the specifications of our projects. Please keep in mind that
light/shadow and differences in computer monitors can alter the
appearance of a color. Best, Peterssen/Keller Architecture

If your entry has high ceilings, try a vertical stack of artwork. It’s easy to create a grouping of artwork from an old atlas, a book with botanical or wildlife plates, or a calendar.

T: very nice M: great look for entry way, very clean, so not like wood colour though. having an area/bench to sit would be very nice for main floor entry.
