I believe the interior designer, Christine Vergara, bought the fixture at Studio Steel.

Please can you tell me what color you'd describe the tiles as, or where you purchased them? It looks to me like a pale green glass - is that right? Thanks in advance.

I love the shape of the hood. What material is it made out of ? How are the corbels added or one piece?

Thank you. We have a Viking hood inside of the plaster surround. The plaster surround was made with conventional wood framing and plaster form work to my specifications.

It's a custom color that we mixed up but it is a dark rich blue that we added a good amount of black to. I know that's not too helpful but you may just need to buy some samples of colors that look close to see what feels right.

It is a custom plaster hood built over a standard Viking range hood. Thank you.

What size are the floor tiles? They look smaller than classic 12x12

They are about 1 foot square and are called Tecate Tile that we purchased from Bourget Bros. in Santa Monica, CA

Thank you. The color is actually a custom mix that the painter just came up with for us on site.

Thank you. I designed it and it was custom made by a local mill shop: Trilogy Doors and Windows.

For Spanish Revival I prefer no door or window casings with hand formed plaster corners instead. Where we have tile floors I prefer the walls with no baseboard. Where we have wood floors I like a short base that comes out of the wall a bit more than usual, maybe 1" thick or more.
