The rug is a flokati, however natural flokatis are very hard to keep in good condition. We recommend something like this one which is far easier to care for!

The white rug is a Flokati rug from a custom rug supplier for the trade. I am happy to send you a quote. You may email me at cathleengouveia@gmail.com. Thank you!

Try Pier1.com for the branches, and zgallerie.com or westelm.com for the vessel.

Actually, the vase was hand carved wood and located at an Art Festival in Marin. The branches came from Mother Nature via the Tennessee Valley Trail in Mill Valley, CA.

The painting is an original, one of a kind work on paper by Joan Miró i Ferrà April 20, 1893 – December 25, 1983). He was a Spanish Catalan painter.

The chaise is a vintage piece from Lignet Roset. It is unfortunately not in production any longer. They have similar pieces now called Stricto Senso. Good luck!

The table was from a modern retail store similar to Roche Bobois. You might consider the more omnipotent Noguchi table.

Shoshana Gosselin added this to Add a Drop of Color to Your Living Room
Use a large vase to test out a new color in your room. I like the big size and different shapes of the Morph Vase from HomeDecorators.
Kelly Porter added this to Looking for a Bold New Furniture Arrangement? Super-Size It
To give your room an element of surprise, consider a life-sized sculpture. You can choose from metal, wood or ceramic based on the style of your room. A piece like this will give your space large dose of drama.
Lawrence Karol added this to Expert Talk: Sculpture Helps Rooms Break the Mold
Balance the room. "Sculpture adds an element of surprise and drama to a space and doesn't need to be limited to a tabletop or pedestal," says Cathleen Gouveia of Cathleen Gouveia Design. "I often use sculpture to vary the height of objects in a room. I believe that you can balance the elements in a room by engaging the low, medium and high areas of the space. And the triangulation of elements helps move the eye around the room."She adds that "aspects of nature can act as sculpture and help bring the outdoors in, particularly in a space that lacks a view."
