No, it is original from 1908. You can buy somewhat similar new product components from Waterworks and Urban Archeology and others.

Are the hex floor tiles ceramic or marble? If marble, what type? Are they 3"?

  • scerrir
Are they glazed tiles? Would you recommend porcelain over ceramic, or it does not make a difference?

    Thanks!!

We sell a very similar product which is a 2x2" Crema Marfil Marble tile available in 2x2" Hexagon (pictured below) for $10.95 a square foot: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/cmh-2x2-hex.html

And then there is also the option of a 1x1" Hexagon for perhaps a shower floor (more grout = less chance of slipping) but keeping the same look. Again pictured below for $9.95 a square foot: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/cmh-2x2-hex.html
