Cabinets - I have asked this question several times and it never shows up as posted. Maybe it keeps getting deleted by someone. I am going to try one more time. I would like to know who made the cabinets and what style and color are they? Thanks.

I have a question on the design-is there a reason why the floating shelves were not put on the right side of the main wall to mirror the left side? Was that to show more of the tile design?

Can you link the architect or where I can see exterior pics? - Really like how you've done the kitchen/dining/living room space. Is there somewhere I can see the rest of the house? Either thru the architects site or any other venue like shelter mag or even photographer's portfolio? Thanks.

Ceilings are 11'6. You would have to ask the homeowners how they like the floor, but I know they are virtually maintenance free.

Is the window to the left of the range a casement window? - If so, what is the size of the window? I didn't think they could be made that large.

I believe it is just a fixed window with mullions.

The range mirrors the fireplace in the living room which also has the steel surround.

1. All the Way UpDesigner: Page Gandy of 3 Fold Design StudioLocation: Austin, TexasSize: 250 square feet (23.2 square meters)Homeowners’ request: An overall soft, monochromatic feel with texture and interest to enliven the space. Backsplash: Hand-painted terra-cotta tile (Fatima decorative field tile in Mezzanotte color, 4⅝ by 4⅝ inches, by Walker Zanger). “Because there were no upper cabinets in the kitchen, we knew the back wall had to really pop without being overwhelming,” designer Page Gandy says. Other special features: Black steel vent hood. White Caesarstone countertops. Cabinets hand-finished in a washed gray. “Because of the amazing backsplash tile, we toned down the other finishes in the space,” Gandy says. There’s also a study nook to the right.
