It looks like these panels are two widths wide due to the thin fabric. You make the top of the panel look like dental molding or fingers of fabric. At the top of each finger, fold over the top and hand stitch down in the back to create the pocket. Separately make the horizontal bands with Velcro at the ends to attach to itself. Hang the panel by the fingers. Weave the strips between each finger and attach with Velcro in the back. Done.

Wendy Somerville did you make the mock up and how did it go? I was thinking of taking 7 strips, sewing them together up to a certain line and then weaving other strips across the top. I've been wanting these for a while now.

Can these drapes be purchased anywhere?

    - Can these drapes be purchased anywhere?

How do you make these or where can they be purchased? It seems if it's going to be on Pintrest there would be instructions as to how you can create the look.

you could just buy panel drapes and then put large button holes in a check pattern, and cut strips from one spare panel and weave through the button holes. button in back for easy removal for washing. You could also use twin flat sheets and pillow and king size pillow cases, this would be really fast! will do this for my headboard!
