The art was purchased by the client and I don't have the information. The wall color is Benjamin Moore China White (but this isn't a condo...it's a master bedroom). And the sofas are very comfortable - Gus has limited textile options but all of the selections are great colors. I hope this is helpful!

To be exact the widest dimension of the sitting space is 13'-10" - the narrowest part of this bedroom is the bed area itself at 10'-6". I hope this is helpful.

Thank you so much for your prompt and exact answer. This reassures me a bit. My new condo has an area which is 10 and a bit by about 24 and I have to fit in a bed(room) and a living room area and so your designs are very helpful. Unfortunately, I do not count on 13 plus as this beautiful space does. Still, this picture makes the room look so very narrow; I wonder if it is the angle at which it was taken. Thanks again!

The sofas are actually not Knoll but are from a fantastic Canadian company called Gus Modern. They have limited textile selections for their upholstered pieces but all of their textile selections are top notch!

Gus isn't all that great of a company

The reason they have limited fabric selections is because their upholstery is made in China, yet they charge as much or more than comparable American made furniture.

Thank you for your question. This is a master bedroom suite. The bedroom area shown measures 28' in length x 13'-6" at its widest point. The adjoining office space is roughly 9' square and the adjoining master bathroom/closet is 22' x 10'. I hope this is helpful! You can view our portfolio and company profile at www.nm-interiors.com

Yes the fireplace is a real wood burning fireplace. The house is from the 1890's and has 4 original wood burning fireplaces. Thanks for your question!

Glad you like them...they're woven wood blinds with a top-down-bottom-up feature. This is a great option to add to shades b/c it increases your privacy options while allowing you to constantly let light in. These particular blinds were by one of my favorite blinds companies, Fashion Tech...there are many companies out there that make products like this though.

They are by a wonderful Canadian company, Gus Modern. It's called the Jane Love Seat. Their sofas are well made and very comfortable!

Gus sofas are made in China - There are plenty of other furniture manufacturers/retailers around who offer similar styles that are made in the US and Canada for similar prices.

The wall color is actually Benjamin Moore China White and the trim is Benjamin Moore Gray Mist - it's a really subtle contrast - extremely beautiful at night

Thank you for your question. The coffee table was custom designed and Fabricated by Aaron Bladon, a Chicago-based furniture design company. I hope this is helpful. Good luck with your project(s)! Regards, NMI

The rug is a Pakistani Gabbeh and was purchased through Oscar Isberian - they'd be more than willing to assist you in finding something similar. I hope this is helpful.

They're actually wood and are antiques. If you have a good African, Indian, or Chinese antiques dealer in your area you should be able to find something similar. Good luck with the hunt!

It's the Tripode G5 Floor Lamp by Santa Y Cole. You don't see it in this photo but the lamp shade is beautifully pleated! It's readily available online at vendors like Lumens, Lightology, etc...Happy hunting!

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Erika Ward - Erika Ward Interiors added this to Your Windows: Dress in Layers
Handsome gray panels frame windows outfitted with top-down, bottom-up woven shades. This combination allows you to play a game a peek-a-boo with the outdoors. Close the drapery to receive another layer of insulation in a room with high ceilings.
Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR added this to How to Arrange Furniture in Long, Narrow Spaces
3. Place some furniture perpendicular to the length of the room. In this room, if they had placed a long sofa facing the fireplace, by the time you put a coffee table in front of it, you would have to walk right through the sitting area to get by. Plus, the room would have looked longer and skinnier! By using loveseats instead of a longer sofa, they were able to place them perpendicular to the length of the room with space left for a pass-through area down the side of the room. I know wide-angle lenses used for professional photos make rooms look nice and big. But based on the furnishings, I estimate that this room is not more than 12 feet wide.

Interesting wood detail. We could do a door style to match this - next to it potentially?
Emily Bullard added this to Kitchen
Like how the bed is tucked away
