The Countertops are London Fog. This is a granite and can be purchased at Venetian Stone, Irvine CA.

Thank you, and yes I love color. I have to paint every room in my house. I love certain shades of color but have made so many paint mistakes in the past that I want to be really sure I choose correctly!! This site is so awesome amd everyone is so responsive!! I don't know what I would do without you!!

If you called in an interior designer to help you pull together a paint color palette for the whole house, you woukld find it to be money very well spent. A color consultation doesn't have to be expensive and an experienced designer has first hand experience with many of the colors in the name brand fan decks. You always ask about beautiful colors, so you already know what you like!

This is Timeless. It is a porcelain tile that looks like Calacutta. Very cost effective.

So sorry for the late response, I must have missed this one. These are slightly higher than standard cabinet height by roughly 2" to accommodate the stone top. Most W/D's are 36" (H) w/out pedestals.

I just purchased this tile for my new home, for the Master Bathroom. It's Marazzi, Timeless collection. Gorgeous, like Calcutta marble, but more durable and less slippery!
  • corrin_taylor
Andrea, could you please share the level of satisfaction you have for your Marazzi Timeless tile? I am interested in placing it in my master bath. I found the texture to be perfect bc we have a child that is handicap. I want to keep safety in mind without sacrificing the look.

  • PRO

Unfortunately this is the only perspective of this space we have. To the right of the garage door is a wall that backs up to a home office. Behind the camera's perspective is the entry foyer which leads to the home's formal living room. The window overlooks a stone courtyard with a sunken fire pit. What you see in the photo is the entire laundry room minus the third wall which features small art pieces

I've had several comments about this not being the right color. Both our designers & painters have confirmed this was Sherwin Williams (101) "Old Quaker". I can only assume that this has been since discontinued or possibly we're off on the color... I do have an old SW color wheel that shows this... Sorry
  • PRO
Old Quaker is no where to be found-not even in the Sherwin Williams computer. Do you have another SW color to suggest that would be similar???Thank you.

This does have a light texture, it is a ceramic tile that mimics the look of warm calacatta. It is definitely a better option than a polished or honed natural tile. I would stay away from any polished surface considering your concern.

The old quaker is similar to a swiss coffee but slightly lighter IMO. The slab countertop is a granite called London Fog, it tends to read lighter grey in color. The upper and lower cabinets have the same paint color. Hope this helps!!!

How would you propose moving the washer and dryer if repair is needed?

          • psmazz
@Spinnaker Development,we are in the middle of a remodel of an Eichler and the plumbing for the laundry area. We have the compact Miele washer/dryer set and want to do them side by side with a counter top above and cabinets down from ceiling. How do you hide the plumbing? Our lines come out of the wall to the washer and dryer and are not flush!!?? Thanks sheet rocking this Monday so time is of the essence! Thanks
          • slab
@psmazz: We reviewed the work of the builder that is going to construct our home. He used a square plastic inset piece that sat between the wall studs. It held the plumbing bits and prevented them from sticking out. He was able to push the washer flush against the wall. Unlike our last house that had the plumbing parts sitting on top of the drywall and ABOVE the top of the washer.
