1951 mid-century modern home remodel Before & AfterMidcentury Living Room, Los Angeles

In the living room remodeling fireplace and getting rid of wood burning fireplace opening up the entryway to the living space was a must. Using cement poured foundation oil burning rectangle white fireplace made for extra seating with a pop of color apple green cushions very inviting.

inspiration for miniature double kiva fireplace. One on the in-law apartment side, and another on the kitchen/dining corner. shared space, but soundproof walls between each one! Kiva style, so curvy asymmetrical bench and multiplier storage niches.
