A colourful London homeEclectic Home Office, London
What Houzz contributors are saying:
5. Add a colorful edge. Gray walls and a simple white floor are given a quirky twist here with a dark green metal chair. Despite its unassuming size, the color of the chair is strong enough to turn it into a design statement.
Avoid uniformity. If you have two of anything, whether it’s lamps, chairs or rugs, make one glam and one boho. For instance, this dual room feels so much more informal with an animal print rug (glam) and a geometric rug (boho) to highlight the two different zones.
8. Channel the Spirit of Your Artwork and Break All the RulesYou’ve gotta love this installation. Not only does it defy any attempt to be symmetrical, but it really pushes the envelope. Because of that, I find it delightful. The butterfly theme clearly helps this unconventional arrangement work, as if the butterflies are fluttering away before your eyes. However, without the right subject, this approach is hard to successfully achieve.More: 10 Simple Ways to Display and Enjoy Printed Photos
