This project, for a young and busy family, had a focus on organization. Everything from the kitchen, to the laundry room, to the bathrooms was designed to fit with the family's needs and lifestyle. The kitchen area was spacious enough to allow for a secondary island, which eliminated the need for a formal dining table. It creates a casual dining area that also works as a prep space. This is also a great area for the children to congregate with friends or spread out to do their homework. The addition of a desk area creates a command center for the whole family and can accommodate two people with computers. The tall side towers around the desk area function as a charging station for electronics, as well as pantry storage. Another distinctive feature of this kitchen is the tiled archway above the range, which creates make-up air for the range area.
