What Houzz contributors are saying:
Smart devices: They can hold electronic versions of your old cookbooks or magazines and navigate you to your favorite culinary website. The kitchen pictured here has wall mounts for both a tablet and a phone, which are great for keeping the counter clear and devices clean. Bonus: being able to look at two recipes at once.Although I don’t have a wall mount, my iPad does have its own stand. It’s quite handy, but the one thing I can’t work out is how to scroll down on the touch screen without leaving smears of grease.
This example of an under-cabinet system shows how you can incorporate electronics and still have a streamlined look. Holmberg estimates that a custom plug mold addition would cost anywhere from $400 to $800.Under-cabinet system: Legrand
What Houzzers are commenting on:
We saw the tablet hangers at Yale. We aren’t tablet users, so not a priority. Maybe you’ve noticed a theme of caution about electrify and wet working areas? Maybe it’s over cautious, but I’ve been to too many fires in wood frame dwellings as an ARC volunteer to ever get casual about this.
