Eclectic Living Room, New York
In the Living/Dining Room, expansive white walls and floors are broken up with lively textiles. Drapery made from Duralee linen perform a multi-functional purpose. "I love textiles," Adamik divulges, "I think in a different life I would be a textile designer. A fabric is a microcosm of an interior's bigger picture. A fabric can encompass many aspects of design: color, texture, scale and light." Placed close to the ceiling, the drapery highlights the verticality of the windows, while pulling onlookers toward the amazing city view beyond. The contrasting pattern imbues the space with a sense of drama and luxury.
