What is the finish of the island and the material for the countertop?

  • PRO
    Venegas and Company
Yes, the stain is applied first and then the white is hand applied after! The stain is proprietary to our cabinet maker and unfortunately not something you can purchase. I suggest visiting your local paint showroom or hardware store and then can help you select a similar color. We're always happy to help - and good luck with your project!

Can you also tell me where you purchased the chairs?

Lovely. What are the colors of the cabinets and who made them? Thanks!

  • PRO
    Venegas and Company
The perimeter cabinets were made by Signature Custom Cabinetry for us in a traditional white paint and the island was made by Premier Custom Built for us! The island is cerused rift cut white oak. (if you hover over the image the green tags list all the details). Good luck with your project!

Yes, this is a microwave drawer unit. I recommend that you look at both GE and Wolf...Both are good.

what kind of wood and board sizes are the beams made out of?

  • PRO
    Venegas and Company
The beams are pine and original to the home. They were sanded and stained during the renovation. I unfortunately do not know the exact dimensions, but they are probably around 10" high x 6" wide.
  • meridor
Did you remove the beans and then re-installed them after insulating the ceiling? Isn't the insulation is too thick to keep the beams salient? Are they supporting beams or now just decorative?

can you get the cabinets in something other than white, maybe with a wood grain.

  • PRO
    Venegas and Company
Yes of course! These are custom cabinets that we design specifically by client. We specify the material and finish based upon each individual project!

I absolutely love your beautiful kitchen! It's perfect! Would you be able to tell me what the backsplash is?

Thank you so much! The tile was sourced by the interior designer, but I can tell you it is a small glass subway tile, 1x2. Check out Oceanside Glass Tiles. http://www.glasstile.com/

Could you please tell me the hardware that you used on the cabinets?

  • PRO
    Venegas and Company

The hardware was selected by the interior designer and unfortunately we do not have the exact manufacturer information, but have a look at Colonial Bronze. They have similar hardware.

The counters look painted in the color white. The beam look worn out and has that aged look.
