Could you please tell me the wood you used for the desk top and the colour it is stained?

Hi, the timber used for the desktop was French Oak, it was also aged, stained and oiled. The stain was as blend we came up with, just to darken the timber a bit. The client had a specific look he wanted to achieve.

Hi Warren, I think it may have been you we gave an estimate on this study unit to via this site back in January. Apologies if I'm incorrect. Including all period features mentioned we estimated 16,000 - 17,000. This estimate is still valid so if you deduct approx $2,000 for the French Oak bench top the price estimate would now be 14,000 - 16,000 depending on size and finish, We would be more than happy to discuss this project with you in more detail, its always easier to talk rather than email. Please feel free to contact our factory on 03 97483800 or provide us with your contact details so we can get in touch with you. You can do this via our email address info@steding.com.au. We look forward to discussing your study unit options in more detail then. Thanks again for your inquiry.

Hi Dimensions are 3300W x 2700H x 700D. Regarding the timber, the cabinetry was manufactured from MDF and spray painted in Dulux Antique White USA. The timber bench top is French Oak, aged and distressed with an oiled finish.

Hi, thanks for your enquiry but unfortunately I have no idea what colour this client painted their walls as we are joiners and furniture manufacturers. If you have any questions about the study unit I'm more than happy to help.

Hi Amanda, the entire unit was manufactured in house from MDF and painted. We are a cabinet / furniture making business so we don't buy in any of our cabinets.

Hi there, thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately we don't have any information about the rug as we are a joinery company and are only involved in the manufacture of the cabinetry / furniture.

This is the closest I could find to something similar I can do on the stairway wall. I believe this unit is 10ft long x 8ft high x 2ft deep. (My wall is 12ft long x 9 ft high x 2ft deep.) My intention for this unit serves many purposes : 1. I would like my coffee / tea bar on one end. 2. I would like to use bottom cabinets for files and have a space to sit and use laptop. 3. There will be a t.v. that can be hidden in the middle (right where the cabinets above the computer in this picture are.) 4. I'd like the countertop part to be as long as possible to be used as a buffet for parties. 5. I was thinking the outer cabinets would be on the diagonal to prevent hard corners entering and leaving the room. 6. My goal is to make it look like a beautiful piece of furniture with a lot of potential function! I'd like open shelves for pictures and decorations, as well.
