What Houzz contributors are saying:
Enchantingly flexible, the configuration can be easily transformed by tying the panels to the support posts or opening them up to create a headboard, as shown here. Make sure a fabric with enough weight is selected for the drapery panels, especially if you intend to move them. Metal grommets, used in these drapery panels, require a sewn heading and a medium-weight fabric.
A canopy bed has a traditional look and provides a cocoon-like sleeping experience. Typically, four curtain panels are added to the corners and can be slid open and closed, creating an adult version of the forts we all enjoyed as kids. The bedding here includes a skirt and hotel-style duvet pulled all the way up, then slightly turned down. Euro-size pillows are placed in front of the sleeping pillows. They can also be placed behind the sleeping pillows for a cushy backdrop.See canopy beds in the Products secction
Enclosed in Drawn CurtainsA luxurious four-poster bed becomes a room within a room when its curtains are drawn. The option of visually and physically separating the bed from the desk-turned-nightstand makes disconnecting from the world — and one's gadgets, often placed bedside — that much easier.
