This curbless rain shower and also the outer floor was completely built and waterproofed with Wedi materials. - All corners between the floor and the walls are sealed with Mapeband. - The tile grate linear drain is made by aco. - The outer floor is raised up only by 30 mm (1''- 1/4) before tiling. - The tile base is covered with Schluter L shaped anodized and brushed aluminum. - All corners are caulked with 100% silicone in grout color. - Wheel chair accessible if needed.     Hello hwnsmile,

    Honestly, I don't know. The wife is still scared to use it however her husband (I guess he weights 90 Kg or even more) is sitting all day on it.

    And the Glass installer is even heavier than the husband (I would guess he weights at least 100 Kg) was demonstrating also sitting on it without any problems.

    I called him a couple minutes ago and he told me 125 Kg would be no problem. Probably even more. So my conclusion: If you use it "normally" you will never break it.
