OMG Thanks so much for the info!!! I too agree, love the tile size.I've been looking at many tiles :0 and find mysef going back to Walker Zanger..so thanks :) a few more ?'s if you don't mind. Regarding the floor, looks like large stone tile bordered w/a small square w/dot in center? can you elaborate a bit? Size and accent border and design? love the paint color too!!color?. Also just curious about the molding above the mirror, any reason other than aesthetics , to enhance the light from the beautiful fixtures? looks beautiful!!
THANK-YOU again for all your info. You have been so helpful!!!
    I just discovered this web-site yesterday and have found a "gold-mine" :)
    I will enjoy ,

The typical splash is okay but I don't like the fact that then there is paint above the splash until you get to the medicine cabinet's lower edge. I think the paint will get splashed and not look good after a while. Only other options seems to be to half tile the wall but I like the way paint looks but maybe not as practical.

I have also done that many times, and as long as you use a semi-gloss paint then it is easily washable.

No- the mirror frame moulding was installed first then a brand new mirror was cut and fit into place.

Thank you so much for your interest in my projects! I really appreciate it! The light fixture is a double-sconce from pottery barn. Each bulb is about 40 watts of light. It is very bright, and could certainly light up a small space.

For this house, the mirror frames were custom made to fit the space. There is a cove crown at the ceiling and a header crown at the top of the mirror. Thank you for your interest!

Marble is a little more porous than granite, but both stones require a sealer to protect against stains. Depending on what you select, you ask the stone dealer for a recommendation on the best sealer and application for that stone. You are less like to get stains on the countertop in a bath versus a kitchen.

Thank you so much! The cabinets were custom built as per my drawings and specifications. The counter is crema marfil marble. All of the tiles are in ivory and come from Ann Sacks tile in SF. The floors are also crema marfil marble, but honed and inlay with a decorative border. The wall color is Berber White and the cabinets and trim color are Cotton Balls by Benjamin Moore.
