Where are the outdoor pillows from?

Hi Rose, the cushions were made up out of old Turkish Kilims. They are fine to use outside but best not left out in the rain, unless you want them to 'weather'! Hope that helps. Emma

Hi - the climbing plants are Trachelospermum jasminoides - I use it where a well-behaved, evergreen background is needed - and it has wonderful Jasmine-like flowers in the summer.

Hi, It's teak but then a solution of bleach was painted over the top to knock the redness down. Best. Emma

Where did you get the fencing/lattice?

Hi - It was supplied by the builder, however it is Cedar slatting painted in a weatherproof wash to give it a bleached out/weathered look. Hope that helps! Emma

Hi, yes certainly you could build something like this as a wind break but you would need to ensure your builder used the appropriate wood/thickness (which he is best to advise you on), and built it with the wind in mind.

If the wind is really strong I'd tend not to just rely on something like this, but also use staggered plants/trees. The more you can slow the wind up the better!
