    My guess is it's Corian or other solid surface material. You can do whole showers with it. Some pool builders use it as the spa overflow/splashover piece.

- Besides the shower are all the remaining walls tongue and grove? I am trying to figure out if it's overkill to do every wall area or should I leave a wall or two with out it. Thanks for your help.
