The vines on the arbor were here when we took over the house and we managed to save them. They're a combination of Cecil Bruner roses and what I call white potato vine. The rose is an old fashioned variety and it is just lovely with clusters of perfect pink blossoms and a beautiful scent. The "potato vine" is extremely prolific and needs to be cut back every couple of months. Together they make a continuously blooming bouquet at the front gate.
