Is the firepit wood burning or gas? If wood burning, what is it lined with and does it need drainage?

The fire pit is gas. It is lined with fire brick and fire clay. There is a drain in the bottom to prevent it becoming a birdbath!

Sorry but I'm a woman and I don't know exactly how it works, but did the stone go on cement board or anything?

No it did not. It was stacked and we secure the stones with concrete on the inside so you don't see concrete seams from the outside.

We constructed these walls by stacking the stone to give a dry-laid appearance and then backed the stone with mortar for added strength.

We would like to know if the plans for the patio and fire pit are available to purchase?

The fire pit is 16" tall, the seat wall against the foundation of the home is 18" tall and the curved seat wall around the fire pit is 20" tall.

I love this design. The seating wall provides extra seating and it also defines the space around the fire. The Adirondack chairs stand out against the stone and greenery. Really nice!

The client purchased the chairs on their own but you can find similar Adirondack chairs at Walpole Woodworkers (www.walpolewoodworkers.com).

Nice to enjoy other than a pool.

Rock wall and brick coping could serve as planter all and spa siding.
