Beautiful Small LandscapeContemporary Patio, Minneapolis

A paver patio (Anchor Afton, walnut color) to gives the homeowners the entertainment and dining space they wanted. The blended colors of the pavers pull together the colors of the roof shingles (brown) and the New York Bluestone (blue/gray). The smaller pattern of the pavers defines the space, inviting guests to sit. Plus, the plant bed between the wall and the patio gave the homeowners a space to plant seasonal color and an edible garden.

Yes, about the fence....It is a custom cedar fence with stucco columns made to match the home. The cedar is high grade to minimize knots and to give it a smoother look. I hope this is helpful

Thanks. We just have no idea how much landscaping even costs or patios so I was just wondering what the
Approximate cost of their project was just to get some idea, not as a quote or anything.

I would be happy to discuss the project with you and give you and idea of how our process works. Landscaping in Minnesota, of course, is a seasonal business so its wise to get the process moving so your landscaper can coordinate with your builder to assure that your yard is completed in a timely matter. My cell is 952-221-4475. Please feel free to call me anytime for some pointers. Thanks, Patti

I have similar wooden fences in my garden as well and I must say they look really beautiful. You have also very nice wood fences and I believe that you take care of them very well. Good job and keep posting such beautiful pictures in future as well. Thanks. http://blog.californiafenceco.com/

Hello Wesley, Thanks for your inquiry. The tall trees on the right are Holmstrup Arborvite. This tree is often used to create a little privacy. I hope this is helpful. Patti

Hello, Thanks for asking. The patio was constructed with a paver by Anchor called Aston. The color is called "walnut color" which is a blend of varying colors that were chosen for their match with the bluestone which was used for the wide walk leading into the yard.

Most of these plants are zone 4 plants. Most of the plants are labeled on the photo. You can do a Google search to find out what species of each plant is 9 Hardy. Four instance, the white flowering plant is a hydrangea. The only hydrangea that can withstand the zone 9 heat is the oakleaf hydrangea, shown below.

Clean lines, a place to sit, a patch of green and symmetrical garden beds. The look may be simple, but it's always going to draw you in. And as this yard proves, you don't need a lot of space to achieve it.
