For this primary bedroom redesign, the client envisioned a retreat that would provide a sense of escape and tranquility. The room was designed with a moody atmosphere, blending deep, rich colors that envelop the space in a cocoon of comfort. Color drenching was used on the walls, creating a seamless flow of hues that added depth and warmth. A stunning mural wallpaper became a focal point, its intricate design bringing an artistic, yet serene element to the room. To elevate the ambiance, a statement light fixture was carefully selected, adding a touch of luxury and drawing attention upward. Every element was thoughtfully curated to transform the space into a peaceful sanctuary, offering both beauty and relaxation in equal measure.

Ania Omski-Talwar Location: Lincoln Park, Chicago, IL, USA At 166 sq ft, the size of the living/sleeping area in this studio apartment was quite challenging. We made it work by taking careful dimensions of the space as well as every piece of furniture before purchasing. Even the height of the printer mattered as it had to fit between the filing cabinet and the desk. The busy student who lives here had two primary needs: sleeping and studying. Staying within the 5 color choice worked well here. My client's colors are: baby pink, beige, white, gold, soft blue. Everything here was purchased. She was starting from scratch and wanted the entire condo furnished, which I did. I am a huge fan of seating areas in a master bedroom, so we have one here.

This project involved adding a walk-in closet at the end of the bedroom. New upgraded baseboard and crown moulding were also installed. Ceiling speakers were also added as part of a whole home AV upgrade. Tasha Dooley Photography
