Did you use Renaissance Windows in Mission Viejo?

I believe that's correct. I'm sure they have a record. The house is located in Dana Point, CA.

Do you recall the Dutch door information, as far as who/where is was made/purchased from?

I'm sorry I don't have that information. We sold the house and I do not recall those dimensions. The door is 42" and I did not want it to look like a door/sidelight "set" so they are a bit wider to look more like actual windows rather than sidelights.

Hi there. I saw the information about the width of the door. Do you recall the height of the door? It's just lovely. Thank you!

No, but this is in California, so bugs are not really a problem.

I'm so sorry I don't actually know the exact paint. It was a custom door by Renaissance Windows and doors. It is not a gloss paint.
  • hhk4
Thank you. Love the whole look of the entrance way.

        11. Shades for Dutch doors. Amid all this talk of French doors and sliders, let’s not forget about charming Dutch doors. Matching shades at the top of the door and the two sidelight windows, as pictured, are the ideal solution here, as each shade can operate independently. You’ll save a bit of money this way too, as the door shade will be half the typical size and therefore require half the fabric.

If you have more of a modern bungalow thing going on, you're in luck. The four-over-one top door speaks to bungalows and carriage houses of decades past while the solid single panel bottom, simple hardware and high-gloss black paint say modern. The contrast with the white casings and bright plantings make for a lovely composition.

Another option for dutch door on upper deck. Like single panel with upper style window. Outside would be wood stain and inside would be painted to match interior.
