How does the tile on the floor hold up to wear and tear? I hear marble stains easily.

    Hi lsetton,

It holds up well and has been used for Centuries. Mosaics like this are particularly useful as a floor tile the grout provides more traction creating a perfect anti-slip surface.

Buying online can offer significant savings. But also it can be rather a minefield. We have tried to create things to look out for with an article on Houzz.com. Here.

Herringbone can come in a variety of sizes from 1x2" Honed here to a 1x4" Polished. This bathroom looks to be a 1x2" Honed. Above is great value $9.45 a Square Foot and Free Shipping. (All prices quoted here are valid thru 2017).

We stock over 20 different formats of Herringbone. The largest white marble collection of Herringbone in the USA. More info.

Bianco 1x2" Herringbone is most likely what was used in this bathroom. Honed for $11.75 a Square Foot.

The vanity was purchased from Restoration Hardware pre-painted. The image is tagged, so you can get the direct RH info.
