Cmrestivo, it looks like a vendor has answered your question to provide an option to the kind of lighting used in New Mood Design's project. Thank you!

Niela, the floors are custom. The European Oak boards were triple-fumed and then stained with a custom stain from Belgium in a stain finish.

Not sure what you mean. These are chairs. Are you referring to the gray leather sofas in the living room - another photo?

I can't recall, exactly. Two cabinets back-to-back, for depth. Approximately 11 feet in length, I believe. Four bar stools fit comfortably along the length.

The main countertop on the island is Caesarstone. The cantilevered, bar-height countertop is granite. New Mood Design designed it using steel brackets that were spaced appropriately to support the weight of the granite countertop. We worked closely with our countertop fabricator on the design.

Thank you. The raised, bar-height countertop that you like was a custom design for New Mood Design's client. We designed it, selected and ordered the component parts, and it was fabricated to our specifications by the installer.

Thanks for asking! Glad you like this kitchen! That's a BIG question; there are so many facets to the design process. Before we begin sourcing finishes and fixtures for a design project, such as a kitchen, we listen as our clients identify the scope of work, the space available, their functional needs for a space (how many people will use it; number of appliances; storage needs) and their stylistic goals (modern, transitional, traditional). Our job is to interpret their overall goals and transform the space so that it fits their vision. We usually develop a vision for the space plan and finishes soon after our initial meetings with the client. We design a vision board for them to review before moving into the detailed design work: space plans, unique products, harmonized finishes, lighting designs and electrical plans, and so on. Knowing the budget scope helps us identify products. There are millions of fixtures and finishes on the market - faucets, sinks, tiles, cabinetry - and the costs are wide-ranging. If we know budget guidelines, it saves our clients time upfront; we'll focus on appropriate products. You can find out more about us and our projects by visiting our website - http://www.newmooddesign.com. Also check out our page on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/NewMoodDesign.

Bar stools are "bronze" leather by Bonaldo (Italy), designed by Karim Rashid for Bonaldo.

Even the bar stools, covered in warm bronze leather, can be pulled into the living room and used as extra seating; they can adjust from bar height down to seat height. "These are the most comfortable bar stools I've ever sat in," claims McAlear.Kitchen cabinets: Pedini Cucine Integra base and tall cabinets in gray stained European oak; counters: Quartz Reflections, Caesarstone; bar stools: designed by Karim Rashid for Bonaldo
