This examples doesn't feel heavy. I think it because the window trim runs up to the roof line. We don't see thin wood trim, paint dry wall, then ceiling. Makes ceiling cohesive with window wall.

Love this esp the couch- stylish, modern comfort clean. The thing to remember in all of these is the architecture of what you’re working with vs what you see in photo...ie, this place has a wooden ceiling (adds a natural element) and great big windows for amazing light—then try to figure out how to get the same “feel” in your space
