Did you continue tile around the whole room?

    Hi pleavens1,

The tile is only on the two walls that you see in this picture. Because of the medicine cabinet above the sink and toilet, the tile stops at the bottom, but runs the length of the wall.

    Thank you for your inquiry.

To prevent the water spots, clean your shower glass and apply Rain-X. It's a product intended for automotive use, but it works like a charm and it sure beats using a squeegee every time you shower.

    Hi victoriadyer,

We actually work with a local glass company in Concord who offers a product called EnduroShield on their glass panels. This is a finish that they apply to the glass and then apply heat to "bake" it on. It helps prevent staining from hard water, lime scaling, and soap scum. Whenever we are doing a bathroom we offer our clients the option to add the EnduroShield and most don't think twice about adding it.

Yes, it does not shake if it is installed correctly, and the door is more stable when it is hinged on the wall.

    Hi Anne Be,

The towel bar is mounted on the outside of the glass shower enclosure so there is a towel at the sink. When we do glass enclosures like this, we work with a company called Bath Concepts in Concord, CA. They can drill all kinds of accessories (robe hooks, towel bars, towel rings, etc) into the glass as long as you specify you want it and have a panel large enough to fit the desired item.

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    Hi,

You can get this corner shelf from Gatco or Ginger.

This type of corner shelf is drilled on the wall, so it is more stable.

    Thank you for your inquiry!

I would also like to know the cost of the glass.

    Hi,

We use Bath Concepts in Concord, CA for our shower/tub enclosures. They make things very easy by having a lot of different configurations at a standard price. For example, for this bathroom, we used the 3/8" pivot door with 1/2" inline and 90 degree return panel for a 36" x 36" shower. The cost for this "unit" is $2,080 with a $295.00 installation fee. You can also add a finish called EnduroShield which keeps the glass clean for $200 a panel.

    Hi hackberry5555,

This shower is 36" x 42". It has a custom tile pan and curb, which allows for more flexibility in size. However, you can also find pre-fabricated shower pans which are less expensive, but more limited in size.

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    Hi ninatmiller39,

We did this bathroom back in 2008, and since then, the floor tile has been discontinued. It was purchased from Walker Zanger and was the 2" Imperium Octagon mosaic in Crema Marfil/Monge Carlo Dot. You may be able to find something similar at Emser Tile.

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    Hi,

You can see the half of the toilet on the bottom left of this photo.
It's on the left of the pedestal sink.

We located it where you can't see it right away when you open the door.

    Hi merribrookehope,

Sorry for the delayed response to your question. This is a custom mixed color; we do this frequently on our jobs so that our clients can have the perfect color. If you are working with a painter, they can help you with the mixture.

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    Hi,

Both the border and floor tiles are from Walker Zanger located in San Francisco CA. The border tiles are part of the Gramercy Park collection and can be found under the Handpainted Decorative tile section. Specifically in this bathroom was the Sommerset Border in the spring crackle finish. The floor is part of the Imperium collection and can be found under the Field Tile section. We used the 2" octagon with dot pattern in the Crema Marfil/Monte Carlo color.

We have found that using hand painted tiles in older, more traditional homes is a great way to maintain the original characteristics of the house.

Is the shower this small. If so, I do not like it at all. It appears to be a 36 x 42.
