Thanks for the quick reply! This is a picture we found on the Internet, so the openings could be tightened up. I agree that the system you're referring to looks like the easiest, it still creates the look that we're not wild about (too much like a room). How heavy was the glass on the porch you designed? What held them in place? Thanks again, Brent

We had just designed a screen porch and the clients worked this out with the contractor. So unfortunately, I don't have the details. Best of luck with your project.

I want to nap on that hammock!

I was so in love with hammock/swing that I tracked it down... The entire hammock/swing comes from Penobscott Bay Porch Swing - not just the pillows. I just ordered mine, and I'm very excited to get it!

This is the magic question. How much clothing do you have. If you want an island in the dressing room, you're looking at about 10x10, and that's with a small island..... 6x6 in my books is a small walk in closet - if configured properly you can get a lot of storage in there. It all comes down to needs, wants, and budget!

I believe the pillows came from Penobscot Bay Porch Swings. Attached is a close-up picture of the fabric for reference.

Built for napping. Equipped with a plush mattress and neck-saving bolster pillows, this hammock was made for catching a few Z’s on a summer afternoon. This idea has evolved into full-on swinging beds.

I like the hammock capability or not.

Hammock hung from "ceiling" vs wall
