hi izzy - this is the first time i am seeing this question that looks as though it looks as though i've asked it myself. the paint is water based acrylic. the table was varnished after the paint was completed to prevent peeling. the paint has maintained nicely for over 22yrs. again, so sorry for the near 2 yr reply.

hi, unfortunately i don't know the colors the teacup display was surprise birthday gift. the cubbies were painted first with the pink that was intended to match the wall and then a layer of crackle and the final layer of paint matched the shade of the adjacent wall which was then painted a bright light blue.
thank you so much for compliment! the feature has been so much fun!

    7. Candy colors. Jeanie Engelbach describes her house as “Pee-wee Herman opened a pop culture museum in Candy Land.” She has amassed an impressive collection of sentimental treasures — lunch boxes, Pez dispensers, bobbleheads — in her one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan’s East Village neighborhood.

These neatly placed rows of retro lunchboxes showcase some great vintage finds – and then there is the collection of glass bottles on the floating shelf and on top of the leopard-print table

I love the color and pattern and life of this space...the bottle collection and the table and chairs! The rest is kitsch and chaos!
