    guzin1,
The entire entry system and door is custom designed. The door and frame is Mahogany, stained. The doors are 3'x9' each, and 2 1/4" thick. The door panel layout is trimmed with a profiled molding.

    Thank you for your question.

    guzin1,
    Sorry.

The comment response prior was from me, Steve Kleineman, of SKD Architects. One of my clients had signed in at my computer and I did not realize that i was responding through him.

Again, thank you for your question.

I am not sure, but I think it is Honduras Mahogany. The bolection mouldings are a custom profile. The door and frames are stained.

The doors were not priced individually. The entire frame and side glass system was priced as one unit. In today's dollars, I would guess the doors in Mahogany or Walnut would cost about $12,000 to $15,000. These doors are about 9'6" tall, 3'0" wide each, and 2 1/4" thick.

The two doors are about 9' high and 3' wide each. The doors and surrounding windows were designed and built as a system in Mahogany. SKD designed the doors. Commercial Millwork, a company local to Minneapolis, Minnesota, built them. From what I understand they are no longer in business.

    Thanks,

We designed and detailed these doors specifically for this home. They were built by a company that builds custom doors in Minneapolis, MN. The company was Commercial Millwork, but they are no longer building doors like this. Each door is 2 1/4" thick, 3' wide and by just under 10' tall.

Pinecrest and TruStile both make a lot of interesting doors. Perhaps you can fine something from those manufacturers.

    Thanks,

    Clayce,
The entire door system which includes the doors, surrounding windows and the Walnut trim inside and out was about $16,000. The doors are about 9'4" high, and are about $6,800 of the cost. The entire system and doors are a custom design by SKD.

Apologize for this late response. We designed the door, moldings, and the entire frame system. Thanks for asking.
