I have similar type peninsula - would also love to know if cabinets on other side are dark or white -contemplating refinishing our cabinets and considering only changing one side of peninsula since kitchen cabinets today are more than one color. Anybody get an answer to this question?

Thanks for all of the interest. I believe they are the white colour and that the brown is just add on panels and trim to be more of an accent colour. Thank you for the questions!

    Hi there,

We find that laying 12x24 tile in a brick pattern is very beautiful and reduces waste. You should consider brick pattern for this area.

Yes it does, it is a peninsula top that was templated around the bump out.

The depth of this peninsula's cabinets and back panel all total is about 25" but the countertop looks to be about 36" (12" overhang for the bar). In terms of length, I am guessing, but it could be around 72". Thanks for the inquiry!

It is a custom hood cabinet that we made! Thanks for the question!

I honestly couldn't tell you the exact reason why this was a design feature chosen by the customer and designed by one of our designers at that time. I believe they would have done it for some contrast in the kitchen, rather than having it be all white. With the floors also being light, it adds a punch of something different and ties in with the stools they selected. Thanks for the question!
