It is wise to have a protective sealant brushed on your wood before the harsh winter/summer set in.

If your deck gets a lot of sun exposure, consider using a wood sealant that has a UV protection agents inside. Wood sealants that are clear usually don't have UV protection inside. These sealant are better for a shine.

Wood stains that have a water sealer and UV protections are better for changing the color of the wood.

To protect wood decks or other structures exposed to severe heat and sun exposure, use an acrylic stain with transparent iron oxide or opaque pigments

    Infinity Canopy
You can use Infinity Canopy. It is supported by cables so it's retractable. Unlike regular canopies that are one piece Infinity Canopy modular so it can adapt to any space, configured in any width and length, and in one or multiple colors

    10. Cut into a deck's corner. Clever moves at the end of the deck create more interesting sight lines and a closer connection between the built work and the surrounding landscape.

Building a deck right up to the very edge of a treeline is another way to seamlessly integrate nature into your design. These plantings create a visual and physical boundary at the edge of this decking — a perfect solution!

Decks ring the Ridge House, becoming a secondary means of circulation through the space in addition to providing numerous places for sitting and taking in the surroundings.
