Castro KitchenTraditional Kitchen, Dallas

We removed walls to make the space bigger and built a large island with a comfortable seating area. We also doubled the size of the existing window to let in more natural light. We eliminated the hall behind the cook top and build a full size pantry for convenient storage. The mini chandeliers and the stone above the cook top create a contrast of materials and help to create the mood she was looking for.

Now she has a large area for guests to gather in the kitchen that feels open and comfortable. As a mother of three she also likes the fact that she can keep an eye on the kids doing the homework at the same time she’s cooking dinner.

This is such a well designed dining area. The dark work furniture looks great especially against the light blue walls. My sister is getting hard wood flooring put in her home and I wonder if she went with a dark color like this.http://www.laceyscarpet.com

Good morning, a flooring store should have sheet vinyl. You can google it to find one in your area. As for the picture above the floor is engineering wood. Hope that help.

The wood floor is already stained when you purchase. Its from Mannington Hardwood Floors : Engineered Hickory 5 Inch, color Sienna and thickness 3/8 Inch. You can get a sample piece of this engineered floor and have a your painter match the stain.

The color is SW 6218 Tradewind from Sherwin Williams. Try a sample on the wall at your home in case the blue is different in your space. Good luck.

It was a stock cabinets from Lowes and we matched the wood floor as close as possible. Sorry but I don't have this information and it may or may not look good in your house. Picture may differer from the real color. You have to match with the color you have at home. Hope it help.
