Cassie, Bassett Furniture carries a design-it-yourself line of chairs that includes a back very very similar to that and you can choose your finish, seat option, and height. I have them in a different color but same back style and an upholstered seat. I absolutely love them and they have worn VERY well.

Hi! Hearthstone is so grey and that island looks blue. Did the color look blue in that kitchen or is it the lighting? This is my favorite kitchen it’s gorgeous!

    Hi Jacs17,

We match the conversion varnish paint that is used for the cabinetry to Benjamin Moore paint colors, so there is always a bit of a difference. The island is looking a little bluer in the photo than it is in real life.

    Thank you.

    Hi Shaney,

Yes, this was a custom hood fabricated by a local cabinet maker. For pricing I would recommend going to a cabinet maker, local to you, with your size insert, and they should be able to give you pricing.

    Thank you.

Where to start asking questions. I recommend starting in the kitchen, because the decisions for kitchen items tend to be less emotional and easier to make. For example, do you use your small portable appliances? If the answer is, “Yes, daily,” you don’t have to ask any more questions. Pack it. If you are deciding on a platter that you never use, make your way to the next question until you get your final answer on whether you should keep it or not. Once you have decided what to bring with you from the kitchen, move on to the bedrooms. I recommend leaving the basement until last. It can be a more difficult space.Repeatedly ask yourself the questions above about the belongings in each area of your home. Remember, the goal is to move into a serene, clutter-free home! 3. Soft blue makes the cut. This couple sifted through tons of photos looking for just the right color for their island. They knew they wanted to stay with a green, blue or gray to match the rest of the home’s decor, but even with those limitations, the options seemed endless. Eventually, the couple landed on a soft blue. Their choice wasn’t a specific paint color, so designer Christine Sheldon had to find a similar paint and then tint it until she had just the right shade. One of the homeowners’ favorite features of the new design is their Carrara marble countertop, which — despite the extra care and maintenance required to keep it in top shape — brings them joy every day. They also like the design of their pullout pantry — to the left of the wine refrigerator, with circular hardware — which allows easy access and maximizes storage space. Since the pantry drawer pulls out, its full contents are visible and accessible from two sides, meaning there is no wasted space and no shadowy abyss, as at the back of a deep shelf in a traditional pantry cabinet.
