The tag on the benches was added by another Houzzer, and while similar, is not an exact match for the bench. The furnishings in this room are from Ethan Allen, and I believe this is the link for the same bench you see in the photo: http://www.ethanallen.com/en_US/shop-furniture-living-room-ottomans-benches/xanadu-bench/207219.html#sz=36&start=109

Hi Norma, It looks like you may have some questions about navigating Houzz, rather than questions about this photo in particular. If that's the case, we recommend typing "window treatments" into the search box and scroll down to the option that says "photos." Hopefully this is the information you're seeking. If there is a specific question I can answer for you about this photo, please don't hesitate to reply with some additional detail for your question. Best of luck to you in your searches!

Finding the right color combinations can be a challenge, and ultimately it comes down to personal preference. An interior designer can be an invaluable resource in situations like this, helping you decide which shades would complement the colors you already have to work with. If you're looking for a little more of a DIY route, you may find the Benjamin Moore Color Gallery to be useful. Find a color that closely matches your floor and when you click on the shade, it recommends complementary colors. Best of luck finding a sofa that's right for your room!

What Houzz contributors are saying:
7. Built-in personality. This inviting bedroom has staying power thanks not only to architectural details like the built-in shelves, which give rooms a classic feel, but also thanks to the design choices. Solid bedding in neutral grays and white, along with a bed frame and benches in warm cream, creates a more enduring color scheme. Also, the accessories decorating the shelves are a mix of personal mementos, books and decorative items. Using this blend helps the room avoid looking decorated just to follow a trend.
What Houzzers are commenting on:
could we make those shelves / nightstands for our bedroom?
Two tall bookcases on each side with the bed in the middle.
