Chinoiserie Guest Bedroom Transitional Bedroom, Atlanta

This Atlanta area guest bedroom features modern chinoiserie wallpaper (Shantung by F. Schumacher) and a coral geometric print (F. Schumacher) perk up this small guest bedroom. Grosgrain ribbon was put up to simulate crown molding. The bold contrast of the mirror, graphic wallpaper and striped pillows are what really bring this small room together. This room is featured in "The Design Cookbook: Recipes for a Stylish Home" by Kelly Edwards. Photo by AWH Photo and Design

I love the striped pillows on the bed. Are they custom?

They are custom, however, very easy to make! Every stripe is just a separate ribbon sewn on to a piece of linen fabric and then the pillow is sewn together with a zipper at the bottom.
The back of the pillow is plain fabric.

It's Benjamin Moore 1590 Paper White. It has just a nice undertone of bluish gray.

Thanks! It's picture mold applied to the wall and then wallpapered on the inside. With the picture mold, I was able to use hooks to hang the art instead of nails.

That table is actually an antique. It's about 20" - 22" wide, I believe.

How was table attached to walls

There are brackets underneath each side of table that use screws to attach to wall. The small foot of the table rests on the floor. For a table with no brackets already attached, you could use small "L" brackets.

F. Schumacher's Shantung Silhouette wallpaper creates a headboard illusion in this whimsical transitional guest bedroom. The chinoiserie wallpaper feels fresh because of its two-color palette, which tends to translate as transitional in style. Grosgrain ribbon simulates crown molding.

7. Add oomph with framed paper. Lengths of wallpaper framed with basic wooden wall molding beef up the headboards of a pair of four-posters in this bedroom. A gorgeous F. Schumacher paper was used here, but you could frame a really pretty gift wrap for a budget take on this look.
