    Hello judiimel,

The transformation of this house was amazing. We actually went back to our archives to find the before photo of this home and found almost the same angle of the entry before the remodel.

To answer your question, I am sure something similar to this could be done on your project as well. Let us know if you would like more information. Thanks.

Short answer, yes; however, we are architects and not builders. We could certainly design this for you in a configuration on your lot. If you want to discuss further, please email me at

Those are powder coated aluminum railings. I typically prefer painted cedar but this was an owner decision on this one.

Colorful beach cruisers. Better for your body and the environment than mopeds and scooters, taking a spin on one of these will make you feel like a kid again. And they look adorable next to the house.

Let your location inspire the landscape. If you’re not sure what grows well in your area, take a neighborhood walk and snap pictures of front yards that catch your eye. Once you have a few possibilities, bring your photos to a local nursery and quiz a knowledgable staff member about which plants would do best in your coastal yard. And be honest about how much maintenance you are willing to do — with the right plant choices, you should be able to have a relatively hands-off yard … so you can have more time at the beach!
