    Baluster: Biltmore Series #2500; poplar, painted
    Post: Newel Post; custom combination
    Handrail: Colonial Series #6010 Solid Oak
    Round Rosette: Model #7127 (where handrail meets wall)

    I'd say that there's no real rule of thought when it comes to hanging pictures. I'd say make sure that your artwork is at eye level for each stair so that it's not too low or too high, but other than that just go with your gut! :)
