Coastal Maine Summer House
Traditional Exterior, Boston
This summer house sits on a small sloping site overlooking Rockport harbor. The first floor has a double-height space above the dining area, connecting the upper volumes of the entry stair, bridge, and sleeping porch. The sleeping porch is recessed into the south face of the house and uses interior and exterior windows to help bring light and breezes through the body of the house.
