The barstools are available in a fabric and leather. They are offered in both counter and bar heights. Message me if you are interested in getting more information.

Hi, I love this basement. I have three quick questions-one of which you answered.

The walls look like they have a hint of cream but you saind you used oxford white 869. Is the lighting making it look cream?

Can you provide info where I can get the bar stools?

What is the color scheme? I have such a hard time matching things. Is it grey, chocolate, cream, copper?

Unfortunately, I do not have any information on the furniture for this project as the homeowners worked independently to furnish the space after the construction was completed.

I don't have the elevation in front of me, but those doors to the wine room are 6-8, so I'm going to say that they are at least 9' ceilings.

Thank you for your inquiry. The glass shelves are actually adjustable, thick tempered glass shelves, so they are sitting on brackets attached to the cabinetry and are not adhered to the glass.

Thank you for your inquiry. I do have a few additional photos posted on our website portfolio than what shows up here at houzz. Our website portfolio is: http://www.kylehuntpartners.com/portfolio-2/

If you look at the rest of the photos here on houzz, you'll see the front elevation of the home - dark brown cottage-style with cream trim...it shows up on our website portfolio about 6 or 7 homes from the top of the page.

    Regards,

Thank you for your inquiry. The stain color and lacquer finish was custom-blended using products that are typically used for guitars. Unfortunately, I don't have any more specific information available as the homeowner worked directly with the painter to develop the finish on site.

    Kind regards,

    Sara

Thank you for your inquiry. The cabinetry is quarter-sawn white oak that has been stained with a custom-mixed product and color developed on site between the painter and homeowner...its a very, very dark brown.

Thank you for your inquiry. There is about 4' between the bar stools and back of the sofa...enough space where people can be seated at the bar and still pass through to the other side of the room easily.

Thank you for your inquiry. That is an acoustic wall treatment that you can see on the far right. Unfortunately, I do not have the specific manufacturer, as the homeowners had it installed themselves. You can't see it in this specific photo, but they have an entire band set-up in that corner for jam sessions.

    Best regards,

    Kyle Hunt & Partners, Inc.

Thank you for your inquiry. The post coverings were custom made by our cabinet maker. I'm not aware of many "off-the-shelf" options for post coverings. Your best bet may be to find a local finish carpenter or cabinet maker to build and install covers for your columns. If you're planning on painting them, you'd be able to get by with lower cost "paint-grade" lumber to help save a few dollars. Good luck with your renovations!

    Hello theminahenein,

Thank you for your inquiry. The cabinetry is all custom designed and built by Jeff Schultz of The Workbench, Hopkins, MN. They are quarter-sawn white oak cabinets that have been stained with a custom-mixed product and color developed on site between the painter and homeowner.

Thank you for your inquiry. The media space is 19'-6" x 24' and the bar area is 9'-7" x 12'. The adjacent hallway/music area by the stairs is approximately 20' x 15'...so the media space ends up feeling much larger and seating spills over into that space.

    Best regards,

This project really pulled together beautifully in the end. Having seen the start of the plans, the entire space really evolved as the homeowners worked with our team and the craftsmen involved in creating this space.

The homeowners have an excellent eye for interior design and actually selected the majority of the furniture pieces on their own. Unfortunately, I do not have any more specific details with regard to where the furniture was purchased.

    Kind regards,
    Kyle Hunt & Partners, Inc.

8. Basement rec room. A finished basement can be a big plus, especially for those in areas with cold winters. A fully finished and heated basement offers bonus living space for extras like a bar, pool table or big-screen TV. If you’re considering a home with a finished basement, be sure to find out if the ceilings are regulation-height, and ask your home inspector to check for signs of leaks or excess moisture.
