Concrete Floor Wine Cellar Ideas

Genuwine is offering the White Spiral Cellar to the North American market with three depth options: a) 6'7" (1130 bottles); b) 8'2" (1450 bottles); and c) 9'10" (1870 bottles). The diameter of the White Spiral Cellar is 7'2" (8'2" excavation diameter and approximately 5’ diameter for the full round glass door). Unlike the European Spiral Cellar that operates on a passive air exchange system, North American Spiral Cellars will be fitted with a commercial-grade climate control system to ensure a perfect environment for aging wine.

This wine cave was engineered. Built with concrete walls, the exterior has natural head sized stones veneered on to the concrete. The doors are heavy timber with large metal hinges and latches.

the piece de resistance: a quaint wine cellar in the basement with warm orange walls. we accessorized with an assortment of wines and wine glasses in the beautiful custom built shelving. we think our gorgeous bar height wood and metal table fit in perfectly, just enough room to have a few friends over to make a toast!

Wine cellar - contemporary concrete floor wine cellar idea in Columbus

Welcome to your new favorite spot in the house! With this showpiece Custom Wine Cellar, why would you ever have a party anywhere else? Complete with an adjacent room with a large tasting table and space to entertain, this homeowner thought of it all! This unique Custom wine room in a gorgeous neighborhood in the La Jolla and Del Mar region in sunny San Diego, California is an art piece in itself surrounded by even more art pieces. The Wine Room Construction entailed unique custom fitted racking, tiering down from about ten feet on one end of the room to just below eight feet on the other. Producing high quality wine racking for a cellar like this is no easy feat, but that is exactly what the wine cellar builders and team at vintage cellars do best! The glass front and custom wine cellar door, highlighted with metal framing in an interesting checkered pattern throughout, also posed a unique challenge within this wine cellar space. Glass walls, although absolutely stunning, can reduce the cooling capabilities within the wine room itself- simply due to the non insulating properties of glass. Whenever glass is utilized within a custom wine cellar, we always make sure to install dual paned thermal insulated glass. Within the wine cellar itself, The racking is made of all heart redwood with a clear finish, with single deep individual bottle storage above a high reveal display row and double deep bottle storage below. The amount of custom and unique features in this gorgeous custom wine cellar in La Jolla are almost too numerous to count! Take a closer peek and you will notice that the walls are covered with a custom redwood paneling with custom moldings throughout. The interestingly shaped island also has room for large format bottle storage and a small chilled wine refrigerator specifically for whites ready to be served. Arlene Ladegaard of Design Connection Inc. had already completed many projects in the client’s homes over the years and was excited for the challenge of designing a wine cellar in the unfinished basement. Wine Cellars come in many forms and styles. Our client’s had studied different styles of designs for many years as well as collecting over 1200 bottles of wine in all shapes and sizes. After living in their new Leawood home for a few years it was time to address an update on the lower level and design and build a wine cellar that was perfect for their use.

The perfect space to showcase and protect fine wines. A complete custom design maximizes every inch of space. Mirroring the curves and soft edges of the bottles this room holds - the cellar has been created for lingering, admiring and preserving this clients passion for wine! This custom wine wall is located just outside the kitchen area and to the right of the living room. Overhead LED lights and clear acrylic shelves brightly display our client's extensive wine collection.
