Hi, these are maple doors. MDF can be a very good choice for painted doors because it is a stable product and takes paint well. Although some door styles are better suited for a solid wood door and maple is a much stronger to resist dings and dents. Thanks.

Thank you for replying. May I ask then why maple was chosen for this project? Was it the client’s preference?
