Countryside Make overTraditional Exterior, Minneapolis
This project features an award winning front facade make over. The existing mansard roof was framed over to create a new look that provides some solid curb appeal! The interior of the home did not need to be modified to accommodate this renovation, since all of the construction occurred on the outside of the home.

What Houzz contributors are saying:
Pick the right color scheme. Freshening up the color palette is one of the most effective ways to boost curb appeal. Be sure to take into account the hues of neighboring homes, so the overall effect of the block is pleasing without being identical. For a traditional-style home, simple is best: Look to neutral and natural hues like beige (or “greige“), slate blue, gray and cream; all are timeless and elegant. Keep paint looking fresh by washing your home’s siding and exterior windows at least once each year.Siding color: Blue Note, Benjamin MooreHow to Wash Your House
This home’s exterior utilizes nearly every hue found in the stone veneer. The siding picks up on the slatelike blue. The front door mimics the camel-colored stone. The custom gray garage door fits into the color scheme nicely. Crisp white trim sets off architectural details.
