Thank you.

Yes there is a double crown. The lower crown wraps around the built-in for a more finished look. The upper crown is 5 3/4" the lower is 2 3/4"

Typically the uppers on a bookcase are between 12"-14" and the lower cabinets are between 1'-6" and 1'-10".
