Thank you. I meant no need to clean the external parts of the hood that are grease magnets.

    Bunker Workshop
This was my first project as "Bunker Workshop" and also my own home, so I decided to take it all on myself. Since then I began working with different contractors. Now I have 4 solid contractors with whom I like to work.

Your design sensibility is impeccable. I am in the process of remodeling our first house, and we are a month or two away from choosing a contractor. If you do not mind sharing the names of the contractors who you work with to execute such seamless design, I'd be grateful.

Hello. This project was completed with the old Akurum cabinets so it might be a little different. The sub-counter is painted ply. I painted all sides with a mold killing primer. Lots of coats on the exposed edges. The sub-counter is recessed 1/2" from the edge of the counter.

Thank you so much! We are going to give it a try.

Those were actually from Ikea. I don't think they make them anymore. I have been using Sugatsune lately: Sugatsune @ Hardware Hut

It is unique and looks nice, but who wants to climb a ladder every time you need a spice!

I'd really be interested in this as well. I'm looking to buy IKEA's new Sektion cabinets and would love to know how/if this subcounter effect is possible.

Hello. The trespa countertop is 1/2" thick. There is 1/2" offset sub-counter below the trespa.

Or use the area above your kitchen cabinetry. The space in this kitchen is put to clever use for an eye-catching spice collection.

A strip along the upper cabinets of this kitchen is just big enough for one thing...
